City Lights

City Lights-Chaplin's fourth  film for United Artists premiered January 30, 1931.  It took almost 3 years to complete and some of the stories about the production are Hollywood legend. Although released at a time when most films were talkies, City Lights was a giant critical and box office success. The ending ranks as one of the best in film history. This film is definitely a four star masterpiece!
